THE STRATEGY AND SOLUTION COMPENDIUM
for Old Video and Computer
Games
(Including Secrets and
Easter Eggs)
by Chris Federico
By way of brief introduction (brief for my writing, anyway): One assumption, when applicable, is that you’re hoping for a substantial score; another is that you’d like to complete as many levels/waves/stages/missions as possible (or reach the end). The “point,” however, is enjoyment. That’s what games are for, of course, and taking them too seriously defeats the purpose. Such reminders probably aren’t necessary, but I like including them anyway. Maybe it’s because I even have fun writing about games. It takes all kinds, right?
Whenever the process of uncovering an Easter egg is
explained, giveaways – or “spoilers,” as they’re often called these days – are
definitely included. While it’s taken for granted that you know how to play the
game you’re reading about, high detail is a constant intention, so I
occasionally wind up integrating an outright tutorial. If you have any
questions, feel free to write me at drummerboy_91@yahoo.com.
