Instructions for installing the alternate interface graphics by Anthony Bennett.

-unzip the regbut2.zip file in the Blobmaster directory.
-run the instdat2.bat file (ie: from DOSgoto the Blobmaster directory and
type "instdat2" followed by the enter key)
-that's it. If you want the original interface back run the instdat1.bat file.
(I have plans to add configuration file support to make this process a little
less clumsy.) If anyone is interested in creating alternate sets of
interface graphics here are the specs:

Description Allegro Datafile name(header name) Size

Big down button b_down_but 72x23
Big up button b_up_but 72x23
Dialog Box dialb 312x238
Palette g_pal 8-bit(obvious)
Menu Background region 80x479
Small down button s_down_but 36x23
Small up button s_up_but 36x23

Palette indices 1 to 63 are yours to use as you need ( don't use zero).
The rest I need for internal uses. Don't rely on them to remain the same
in future releases.
The file regbutpa.bmp, included in the zip file, contains the current palette.
If you have no intention of adding custom graphics you can safely delete this
file.
If you don't have Allegro, send me a zip of the individual graphics (.pcx,.bmp
.lbm, or .tga files only please) and I'll make an honest attempt to process
them and add them to my website (if you wish) or return you the .dat file
promptly. (I have no deadlines however. I'm learning not to give any firm
dates because this is strictly a spare time (or maybe a spare spare time
thing) and my fund of that seems to be steadily approaching zero.)

If you do have Allegro you can use the grabber utility to create your own
.dat file. Send me a copy if you wish it to be included on my website (same
as above. It will be done when I get time. But when I get time I will do it,
probably.)

.dat files will, for fairly obvious reasons, be dealt with first.
