IDE 2.1 (C)Copyright 1997 William H. Decorie

This program will issue the identify drive command to the specified IDE
hard drive and display the results.  It will only work on IDE hard drives;
it will NOT work on MFM/RLL/ESDI/SCSI drives. It will also not work on
ATAPI drives (CD-ROMs, tape drives). It will not work correctly under
Windows 95 (and probably also WinNT and OS/2), but it will do no harm.

It takes one and only one command line parameter: the drive number. Drives
are numbered from 0 to 7 (two per controller * 4 controllers = 8 drives).

Note that the serial number (if any) returned is the serial number of the
firmware ROM, and is NOT the serial number you will find printed on the
outside of the drive. You can use this for theft control purposes, because
this serial number cannot be changed.
