I would like to increase the TT ram in my TT030. Can anyone tell me what type of memory chips I need to do this? I know that I will need 30 pin chips. Do I buy 1x8 or 1x9 chips.

Thanks to all.

Claude Bourgoin

TT RAM chips must be 30 pin 1Mb or 4Mb x 8 non-parity nybble mode SIMMs.

The 8 means 8 chips on each memory card, NOT 9 or 3 they will not work.

I purchased my chips through Memory Supersource 1-800-457-6837.
Item # WM4000870S 4MX8 70NS SIMMS

The newer TT RAM boards it will have 6 jumpers labeled w101 to w106.

The jumpers settings are as follows:

                     w101 w102 w106
1M x 8 SIMMs (4MB) 2-3 2-3 2-3
4M x 8 SIMMs (16MB) 1-2 1-2 1-2

jumpers w103 & w104 are for the start address remain the same 2-3

jumper w105 is for burst mode ON 2-3 OFF 1-2
