Introduction:
-------------
Simply put, the Video Lines plugin places horizontal lines across your rendered image to give the illusion of the render being displayed on an Old monitor/TV set.

Installing the Plugin:
----------------------
Installing the plugin is a piece of cake! Simply select the OPTIONS button at the top of the screen, and click on the button ADD PLUGIN.

Find and select the file VIDLINES.P and click OK. Lightwave should tell you that 2 plugins were successfully installed.

Load up your animation scene.

Select the EFFECTS button, then the IMAGE PROCESSING Tab. In the Image Filter selection list, look for the filter name T42_VIDLINES and select it.

Setting up the Plugin:
----------------------
Click on the OPTIONS button next to the plugin to set up the parameters for the plugin. Note that the default values should work OK for most animations, but here are the setting details for those who want to play:

Line Thickness:	How thick the horizontal lines will be (in Pixels)

Line Steps:	How many pixels between each Horizontal line

Soften Line:	Allows selection of Antialiasing around the line.
NONE : Off (Lines will be solid)
ABOVE : Only antialias the top of the line
BELOW : Only antialias under the line
BOTH : Antialias on top and below the line

Darkness:	How dark the line will be on the image. 0% makes the lines
invisible, while 100% is pitch black.

Boost : The Lines can make the image appear to darken. This boost
brightens the image by a percentage to alleviate this.
