This entertaining clip features two long-standing computer jokes. However, I think this is the first time they've been used together.
The animation was made on a Macintosh using Macromedia Director 5. Sound was made using SimpleSound. The whole thing was put together using, what else, MoviePlayer. The "Graphics" compressor was used to maintain high quality and gave about half the file size of the "Animation" compressor. Other compressors such as Sorensen Video or Cinepak were inappropriate because I didn't want it to get blurry.
