In answer to a private message I received and wasn't able to send back a reply: I use Ulead's Gif Animator89 to animate my gifs. I've tried others but found that this was one that I really liked and had the best abiity to "shrink" or reduce the number of bytes your animation used which is important when your page is loading. To animate, you just need to decide the motions by frames. If you have an animated .gif, you can open it in Gif Animator and it will show you the frames that were used to create it. Just keep in mind that the more frames, the more bytes-still Gif Animator will remove some of the redundant duplication and you'll have to decide how much you want removed or just let the animator optimize. Hope this helps.
