Biographical Information

I was born in 1959. In 1981 I graduated from Moscow Steel and Alloys Institute with a major in physics "Semiconductors and Isolators". Since 1981 to 1985 I worked in the electronic industry as engineer. Since 1986 to 1995 I worked in Russian Academy of Science (RAS) as IT manager. Simultaneously I was a PhD student of Moscow Steel and Alloys Institute in computer science in the Faculty of Computer Science and Economics. Since 1996 I worked in this faculty first as a senior lecturer and now I am working as an associate professor. I managed the design and exploitation of some computer information systems (IS), including IS with artificial intelligence and computer linguistics methods. I'm the author of more than 60 scientific publications. In 1997 I defended my PhD thesis in the field of computer linguistics, "Algorithmic models for recognition of semantic links in natural language processing computer systems".

I have taken part in the organization of various workshops and conferences:

I have given lectures on:
  • "Artificial Intelligence"
  • "Expert Systems"
  • "Principles of Decision Making Systems"
  • "Applied Software"
  • "Linguistic Foundations of Computer Sciences"
  • "Foundations of Mathematics and Computer Sciences (for students of linguistics specialties)"
  • "Discrete Mathematics (practical lessons)"
  • "Foundations of Computer Linguistics"
  • "Linguistics Environment of Computer Systems"
  • "Lingvo-Semantic Graphs (special course)"
  • "Data Base "Languages of the World" (IL RAS) and New Possibilities of Computational Typology and Quantitative Comparativistics (special course)"
