This place is not less than any Hill Station.This is Completely tribal area. Adiwasi Gond and Converted Christians are in Majority.In Winter temparature sometimes goes down to 1 - 2 degree Celsius also.People in majority do agricultural works. It is surrounded by huge hills, forest and rivers. Ib river plays major role in agriculture, which runs from a hill nearly 10 KM far from this village to Mahanadi, one among extremely important river in MadhyaPradesh after travelling very long distance.Bene Waterfall is the center of attraction.Nearly 15 miles from Narayanpur is situated BADALKHOL sanctuary. This Ashram was build by Late Aughad Baba Bhagawan Ram.Former Prime Minister of India, Late Smt. Indira Ghandi, Mr. Chandrashekhar and Former cabinet minister of India Mr. Arjun Singh were follower of Baba Bhagawan Ram.Nowadays also this Ashram is visited as one of the holy place.At the occasion of Ram Navami, a week long celebration takes place every year.
