This text file accompanies Vend10.exe. INSTALLATION ------------ Just copy the files vend10.exe and egavga.bgi into a directory and type vend10 to run. What could be simpler? SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS ------------------- All I know is that you need a mouse and a vga display for this to run. The scrolling LCD gets a bit slow on my 386, but works fine on a 486 under DOS. Under Win 3.1 it also gets a bit slow - if you must run it under windows check the Exclusive box in the settings dialogue. OPERATION --------- To order a drink, use the keypad in the top left to type in that drink's number (as shown on the menu on the right.) Then click the money buttons to insert money. When a drink, or milk or sugar runs out, the appropriate lights on the menu go out and that drink cant be ordered. To see how much change is in the machine, click change. When a particular coin runs out, the machine will try to give change made up from other coins. The exact change please light comes on when change is low, but the machine will still accept non-exact change if it can. To go into operator mode enter 1234. Use the up and down buttons to choose which option to change. Going up from the start point takes you through a different set of options than going down. To edit an option, enter the new value and click Enter. When done, go back to Exit+Save and click Enter.
