"A guide to crossing the street" in your Rome diary finished with "We left the restaurant at midnight, something you simply can't do back home", but Rob, if you were at home, you wouldn't be at a restaurant anyway. Unless you had one in your house, then I suppose that would be valid. Who knows. Or am I being deliberately pedantic and obtuse? You're on a mission with these licensing laws, and you seem to eat an awful lot for a non-metabolically unchallenged person!
