The scene opens to the EFW parking lot, where a black and silver Harley Davidson comes flying through and stops just short of the door. The trench-coated figure throws his head back and heads into the arena.
Sickle runs into a security guard who runs off as soon as he see�s Sickle. Sickle gets a slight smirk on his face and then continues walking. Sickle walks down the hallway just strutting when an interviewer walks up to him.
Interviewer: Can I have an interview with the current champ himself?
Sickle continues walking like he didn�t hear him
Interviewer: Excuse me Sickle�..can I get an interview with you please?
Sickle whips around and gets face to face with the interviewer
: Are you not able to tell when you are being ignored? Right now I am looking for something but in about ten minutes I will meet you in the ring and you can ask me whatever your cowardly little heart desires. So run along little lion before I tell the wicked witch your trespassing.
The interviewer gives him a strange look and leaves as Sickle continues walking down the hallway. Sickle stops and looks to the right, and smiles. He opens the door, and pulls his black bat out of his trench coat and closes the door. The name on the door reads:
The scene fades out and reopens to the EFW ringside area
Josh: What in the world could Sickle be up to now?
J-Dogg: Who know�s anymore with that one?
Rocky: Personally I think Sickle is declaring war on the head of the EFW just like he has done to others.
Josh: God help Lee
J-Dogg: I wanna know what happened at Shockwave backstage. All I heard was something about Sickle beating up security and looking for Lee with that same black bat and Draven and Dagger went to stop him.
Right as J-Dogg said that a blue fog builds near the entrance way as a video plays on the titantron. First it shows clips of the original Sickle with the hooded robe then the Sickle EFW originally knew, then Lucid Nightmare, then there is a clip of the new Sickle, and it slowly burns away until the flaming word Sickle is in its place. Then there is a clip of the guardian of the river Styx as Seasons of the Abyss by Slayer blare through the pa system out through the fog Sickle slowly makes his way to the ring, bat still in hand, where the interviewer is already waiting with two chairs. Sickle rolls into the ring still holding onto his bat. Sickle then sits in the chair opposite the interviewer.
Interviewer: Well first and foremost what has to be on everybody�s mind Sickle is what is going on between Lee and yourself and what happened at Shockwave?
Sickle stands up and grabs the mike
: Lee thinks he is God. Lee thinks he is untouchable and he can just kick people around. Well, guess what Lee? Last week you kicked the wrong person. Now I want all of you people to see what Lee tried to hide from you guys. Roll the footage
A video comes on the titantron of last week�s Shockwave. Sickle is walking the EFW halls with his black bat looking still for Lee when he turns a corner and somehow manages to lose his bat but doesn�t really notice it. Sickle then heads for the ringside area when he bumps into Richard Lee, and spears him to the ground and starts wailing on him. Lee manages to switch positions with Sickle but it is to no avail as Sickle uses his legs to shove Lee off. As soon as Lee gets to his feet Sickle gives him a standing sidekick to the jaw, and then the two men start slugging it out, right as Lee is about to finally get ahead a big hand grabs Lee�s fists as Dagger pulls Lee back, with Sickle about to go after Lee anyway when someone gently touches Sickle�s shoulder and Sickle turns around and it�s the person behind him and looks shocked when he realizes that he just nailed Draven. Draven responds with a foot sweep. Sickle retaliates with a kick to Draven�s knee. Dagger has security take Lee out of eyesight and goes to intercede his two friends and decides against it when Draven barely misses hitting Dagger with a roundhouse dropkick aimed originally for Sickle. Dagger calls security and has them tie the two down. The video fades out with Dagger shaking his head.
The camera focuses on Sickle and the interviewer again.
: Lee, I don�t care how long it takes me your ass is through! ��next question
The interviewer looks very disturbed by the video but finally snaps back into reality
Interviewer: Draven had some very interesting things to say to you and about you in his promotion for your title match at SolarFlare. Do you have any comments on this?
Sickle grins and pulls the mike out again and this time leans on the ropes as he talks, as if he thinks Draven is watching.
: You want to know what you created Draven? You created the darkest, most twisted, most hardcore wrestler that ever has been, or ever will be. You want to TEST me? You will watch as I pass your test with the crimson red of your blood in the Demonic Spiral match. Now that that has been said the Grim Reaper is far more than a mere creation by man. Death is an incarnation of immortality. I am the harvester of the Grim Reaper, and you Draven are wrong for Gabriel is an archangel sworn to protect heaven from Lucifer, he is not the angel of death. Now you talk about me knowing what it is to be forsaken? I have been forsaken from the very moment that I retaliated that faithful day at school. I have been through more hell than you could ever possibly contemplate Draven. I have overcome numerous odds, and several obstacals. This may be a test for you Draven but for me this a chance to overcome my final obstacle�..YOU! Because of you there have been several federations that I backed off on getting the title bit now I have the title and NOTHING and NO ONE will stand in my way.
You see Draven by accepting the Demonic Spiral Match you have accepted to fight in my yard. You have agreed to fight under the conditions I am used to. No matter how many names you call yourself, I will still have one name that matters, the VICTOR! Draven you are the only person that has been in a match even similar to this. So let me further clarify this for you Draven, the Demonic Spiral Match simplified is a three cage Pyscho Circus Match with limitless weapons and zero rules. This will be a night that you will remember for the rest of your life Draven. The last person who fought me in a Demonic Spiral Match was Doomsday and he was in the hospital for MONTHS! I am not in any way saying this match changes our friendship Draven but realize that once you step into the cage there is no friends, there is no associates, there is no family, there is no one and nothing but victory, bloodlust, and adrenaline. The real question here Draven is how LONG can the teacher last?
Sickle calmly sits back down and awaits the next question. The interviewer almost seems afraid to ask him something else but knows that the show must go on.
Interviewer: And what are your thoughts on Joey Sanders?
: Joey is an incredible athelete and has achieved much in his short career. He has already become the Cruiserweight Champion and has managed to get TWO shots at the World Title. He must be doing something right but from what I saw in Joey's last promotion Joey realizes his place. Do not get me wrong Joey could very well end up winning this thing but right now what it looks like is that Joey will remain just the cruiserweight champion and the rookie of the month. Joey did show me that he has a lot of potential when I was in the ring with him but that is exactly his problem is that right now he has a lot of potential while I have already almost peaked my full potential. Joey is where I was years ago, and he could very well be a future EFW World Champion but come the end of SolarFlare I will be the one standing tall. You see Joey has skill but he does not understand much about hardcore matches. Why you ask? Because hardcore is not something you can teach someone. Hardcore is something they either already know by instinct or learn by being in hardcore match after hardcore match and he has had neither and unfortunately for him the Demonic Spiral Match is exactly that. It is a high intensity hardcore match and regardless of how many ring moves Jag taught him there is no way you can fully teach anybody how to be hardcore.
A lot of things were shown at Shockwave. Joey showed two things in our match that were key. The first is that he can indeed go to hell and back with me, and the second is that he is not able to FULLY bounce back from the hell that comes with hardcore matches just yet, that is just not the type of skills that he has. If this were any other match I would say it could either way concerning Joey and I but since this is hardcore, well hell like I said before as far as hardcore matches go I am undefeated.
Interviewer: Is there any closing statements you would like to make about your big match at SolarFlare?
: A lot of things are going to happen at SolarFlare but make NO mistake Joey or Draven I WILL win! You see while some nightmares have no face some are all too real and you two will realize that at SolarFlare because I am the shadow on the moon at night filling BOTH of your dreams with fright. Embrace the darkness or be engulfed by it
Sickle throws down the mike, and all the lights go out, as everything is pitch black except for a blue fog. When the lights come back on the interviewer is laid out in a bloody mess in the center of the ring with the words an example for Draven and Joey written on his chest and a video on the titantron of a trashed office of one Richard Lee
