Reference letter from Bamboo Network Ltd.

14th June, 2004

To whom it may concern

Dear Sirs / Madam,

It is with great pleasure to give you herewith an account of Sun Chun Man (Sherman) who has been working for Bamboo Networks Ltd. as internship student from March to June 2004.

During his employment, Sherman helped on two application development projects – Content Management System (CMS) and B2B online ordering system. Both of these two systems were built using state-of-the-art web technologies. For the CMS project, Sherman helped to develop some modules of CMS such as web-content submission, approval and publishing. This system was developed using J2EE technologies, and IBM WebSphere Studio as development tool.

Another project that Sherman participated was building a B2B online ordering system for York International Ltd. Greater China, a well-known supplier of heating, ventilating, air-conditioning and refrigeration equipment. The major functions of this system were to provide a web channel for York’s business partners to view parts/model information, place sales order, make sales referral and etc. On the other hand, the system was developed using ASP.NET, VB.NET and SQL Server. In this project, Sherman helped to develop the bulletin board, webpage layout integration with various backend business components and stored procedures for database access.

Sherman is a responsible, accountable and result oriented helper who had demonstrated diligent and persistence in the assigned projects. He had sound knowledge on web technologies and solid skills on application programming. He had also proven himself as a quick learner who can acquire and master new technical skills rapidly. In addition, Sherman was a good team player, my colleagues and I enjoyed working with him during his affiliation with our company.

I appreciate Sherman’s commitment and contribution throughout his work in Bamboo Network, and sincerely thanks for his job well done.

Yours faithfully,

Leo Cheng
