Warrior Nun/Monk

     The Warrior Nun (or Warrior Monk) is a cleric devoted to fight supernatural threats. As such, they typically hail from ideological or monotheistic faiths, such as Buddhism, Christian religion, Islam, Taoism or Confucianism. While required to adhere the often rigid tenets of their faith, these warriors can often call on considerable backup and are usually given some leeway in the course of duty. However, doctrine often clashes with reality and Warrior Nuns frequently have to deal with crisis of faith. Note that the setting does not support a “supernatural is evil” approach and a that character who simply fires at anything magical that moves won’t last long. Order or disorder are more important than good or evil and even a supernatural being has to be judged for its actions, rather than its creed.

Hit Dice and Ability Scores
The Warrior Nun uses d8 Hit Dice.

     Upholding one’s believes and making a lifestyle of fighting supernatural enemies requires an extraordinary toughness of body and mind and thus, high Constitution and Wisdom scores. Good reflexes and cunning are mandatory as well, usually reflected by Dexterity and Charisma.

The Warrior Nun’s class skills (and the key Ability for each) are:

Concentration (Con), Craft (Int), Decipher Script (Int), Diplomacy (Cha), Gather Information (Cha), Handle Animal (Cha), Intimidate (Cha), Investigate (Int), Knowledge (Occult, Religion - Int), Medical (Wis), Perform (Cha), Power Usage (varies), Research (Int), Sense Motive (Wis), Spot (Wis), any two Combat Attack and corresponding Combat Defence skills.

The Warrior Nun gets 4 + Int modifier Skill Points per level.

     When taking the first level in this class, the character can chose to take any level of the Owned Defect and used the bonus points to by levels in the Organizational Ties Attribute.
