Notes for Benjamin Goodridge
Mr Goodridge received his father's farm in Boxford, by deed, 15 June 1742. Here he resided until 3 May 1784, when he sold the homestead to Daniel Gould for L 540, he then removed to Bald Hill in the south part of the town, where he lived but a few months and then removed to Middleton. In 1789 he removed to Westminster, Vt where he died in 1805, age eighty-four years. Together with his three eldest sons, he fought in the battle of Bunker Hill 17 June 1775.
The 1790 US census has Benjamin living in Rockingham, Windham, Vermont.
