| Casting A Circle |

| For this ritual you will need: Sage incense or Fresh sage leafs, bell, offerings for the God (usually bread) & Goddess (Usually Wine, or Juice), A �big� bird feather, and you should use white candles on your Altar. Cleans your self thoroughly by inhaling the sent of the sage by wafting it towards you with the feather. Visualize all bad energy leaving you and your heart filling with positive energy. (If there are more then one person pass the sage Deosil (clockwise) and have them do the same.)(If your alone you can set it in the middle of your alter or circle.) After cleansing set or hold the sage to the specific direction while ringing a bell and say these chants for each quadrant: (Underlined words you are going to change for each quadrant) 1. ~ Welcome, Guardians of the eastern quadrant: element of air. Bring us your gifts of inspiration, mental clarity, & new beginnings. We do stir, summon up and call you forth to this ceremony that you may grant us your protection and wisdom. 2. Southern, Fire, Will, Courage, and action. 3. Western, Water, emotions, serenity, and compassion. 4. Northern, Earth, stability, Instinct, and confidence. Take a bite of the offerings while leaving some for the God (pass it around if there are more than one person) Take a sip of the offering while leaving some for the Goddess (do the same if there are more people) then put the offering on the altar or Circle. Set up the cone of power by meditation. Visualize a circle of bright light around the ritual and the group or your self (which is the circle you are casting). Keep from bad energy from entering your circle, visualize the moon, and the God & Goddess. **Now perform you Ritual or spell** Lastly you have to thank the God & Goddess and the cardinal directions you must demonstrate your gratitude and respect also deem you�re self-worthy of further help. Make sure you do this part with care!!!! No comes time to say the Chant and close the circle so all your spells stay well and unbroken. Walk Widdershins (counter-clockwise) around the circle. On the third and final turn chant ~ O circle of power by our will, we release thee. Thank you for your guidance. Return to your place of power. By our will so mote it Be! Clap hands loudly or ring the bell to send all the power back to their original places. |
| Casting a circle does not have to be used for every spell you do. It is normally used when you are doing something rather important like a ritual or a Ceremony. But some witches like to cast a circle every time they conduct a spell. I don�t most of the work I do is not that extreme. But it is better if you cast a circle. Even though it can be a pain! |
