| Candles- most witches use white candles they bring Blessing, Purity, healing, truth, are also good for meditation. Anthem- dagger, or sword. Incense- I use sage for cleansing. but it's really up to the witch. Wand- I have a home made wand I use some times when drawing energy. Statues- Of their dietie's or the God and Goddess. Offering Plate- For when you are casting the circle, you give offerings ot the God (bread) and Goddess (Wine or Juice). Or maybe just during a sabbat. Pentacle- Symbol of a wiccan or pagan. A 5 point star pointing up. (In some witch communities a pentacle pointing down could be used to show power or status of the witch.) Just make sure that when you have your alter you respect it. |

| An alter is a place for worship and spell casting. It is what the Witches use. You can have your alter any where. It could be in a box you keep put away, Or out on a table. Some witches set their alters twords the North. And some say that it should be outside. But every wiccan/pagan is different. Below are some things to get your alter started! |
