Rainbow of Friendship

It takes both sunshine and rain to make rainbows, thats true...
Alas, my rainbow was colorless til I found a friend in you!

Now you've added sparkle and shine,
My rainbow is brighter and your friendship is mine!

I will do as that which is done,
I'll treasure your friendship like a flower does sun!

And in return, I'll color your world as friends will do,
we'll create a perfect rainbow, that started with you!

Makes no matter, a pot of gold,
I'll be your friend til we're both very old.

And when we shine, as friends always will,
Our rainbow of friendship will be brighter still.

No matter the sun, no matter the rain...
Our friendship will shine and our rainbow will gain!

We'll build our rainbow, on trust and love,
Growing and adding more colors from above!

We'll find new friends, and build many more dreams,
Our rainbow of friendship neverending it seems!

For now, we start, just you and I,
Friends forever, til we become colors in the sky!
