TRUNKS

After saw the DBZ episode where Trunks fights Freiza, I felt it was my duty as a human being to write an editorial on it. No, it's not going to be a review of the episode or anything like that, but instead, it is going to express my opinion on Trunks.
Now, my opinion doesn't vary from most peoples, but I have got to say that Trunks is the worlds coolest anime character. Everything about him is cool, from his hair, to his voice, to his sword. He is loved worldwide by thousands of fans, and many have taken such a liking to him that they have made their own site on the young super saiyan. Although I do really like Trunks, I must say that Goku is still my favourite character, although there is very little in it.
Trunks' voice has a touch to it in which you know how calm and collected he always is, and it does the job so to mock his enemy as he speaks. It is a slightly cocky voice, with a touch of arrogance in. Personally, I think the English/American Trunks has got the best voice in the whole of DBZ (Unlike that fool King Cold who manages only to sound like a complete ponce!). Whenever he speaks you know that he will either be annoying someone, or making them feel better. Whoever is the voice actor for Trunks deserves a medal because of his excellence. It fits into the image of the character perfectly. 
Trunks' sword is another awesome feature on him. It is just the right size to fit in that pouch on his back without looking out of place. It slices through the air most exquisitely, and quite frankly, it is the worlds coolest weapon. The way he swiftfully chopped Freiza in half left me breathless, as I was overcome in awe. 
Trunks' hair may be too long, and in need of a cutting, but it is still very impressive none-the-less, with him fitting in well with all the other bad hair styles of the cast. Once you get used to it, you really are impressed with him. The super saiyan hair looks even better though, as it stick up on end, and although it is a little short to what I'd normally expect, it is still thoroughly cool.
I think that everyone who has seen Trunks will agree with what I have said so far, but what they may not agree with is this: Trunks turned super saiyan too quickly. For those who have seen the Trunks special about his future timeline, then you will know that he isn't all that powerful when he first turns SSJ. The only reason he manages it is because of the built up anger and rage inside of him from Gohan's death. I think that Gohan could have beaten the androids had he of had two free arms, rather than just one. 
Trunks was Koed with one chop from Gohan, signaling that his strength isn't that high. He is demolished by the androids when he fights them, showing that his strength isn't even close to what Gohan's was. I think that his power level should have been closer to Goku's, as he didn't turn SSJ until he was ultra powerful, and ultra angry. Trunks just managed to turn it when anger came over him. Whilst people may argue that Trunks should have been able to turn SSJ, I don't really give a damn. 
As I said earlier in this editorial though, Trunks is massively popular, and super cool. His style and flare are enough to light up anyone's day, and his coolness bares no boundaries. If he would have turned SSJ at an older age, when he was a little more powerful, then he would easily be my most favourite character. As it goes though, he is just plain cool, nothing more, nothing less. He isn't as strong as Goku, nor shall he ever be, but he is good. 
Trunks is worthy of being anyone's favorite character, and should be. If you don't usually watch DBZ, start watching it just to see Trunks.
