TOO MANY SUPER SAIYANS?

What I have been wondering lately, is what is the deal with super saiyans? During the Freiza saga, there seemed to be no such thing, and it was all a crazy legend. Fiction turned into fact though, as Goku made the amazing transformation into SSJ, becoming the first one in a thousand years. Everyone was amazed, and no one though that the level could be reached again by even Vegeta. They were proven wrong though.
After Goku had turned super saiyan, another SSJ came into it, by the name of Trunks (Maybe you've heard of him). Everyone was stunned that there was another super saiyan alive, but then Vegeta went SSJ, closely followed by Gohan. What is the point of having this level of power though, if everyone can manage to become it. There is not a saiyan alive who isn't an SSJ.
When they were running low on ideas, an SSJ stage 2 was bought into the fray, so that they could continue on for a while, and make everyone else into an SSJ 2. Everyone was astounded once again as the saiyans made this level of power, but they didn't stop there. They went on to create an SSJ 3, then an SSJ 4. In my opinion, this is just a way of re-using old ideas.
When the first ever super saiyan came on, I must say that I was well impressed. I even smiled as I saw Goku's hair turn a golden blonde, and as he beat up Freiza, I was in complete awe over this power. I had to find out more about the legendary super saiyan, so I began a search on the internet, desperately trying to find out about how Goku became so strong. It turned out that his anger built up so much, that his power rose a great deal. The power was too great for Goku to control it, so he had to turn SSJ, just so that he could survive. It is a natural thing, which can only happen to the incredibly angry and powerful. I was impressed by this, but as I read on, I began to get a little disappointed.
It turned out that my hero - Goku - wasn't the worlds only SSJ. Vegeta soon made it to that stage, just a little time after Goku. I was a little annoyed by Toriyama's ignorance at first, but after a while, I just accepted it, and remembered that the difference in Goku and Vegeta's power levels always will be very small. I reluctantly started to come to terms with the fact that perhaps Vegeta was indeed powerful enough to become an SSJ. Dejected by this fact, I read up on Vegeta a little more, and found out that he slowly starts to become good friends with the Z soldiers, and eventually turned into a 'good guy'. This made me happy, as I realized that the super saiyan deserved to be in that form, even if it did ruin the legend a little bit, what with none appearing in 1000 years, then two suddenly propping up in about a month. With much thought, I decided that it was OK to let Vegeta turn SSJ, as he was the one who knew all about the legend, and he had the royal blood line, so it was always likely that he would turn super saiyan anyway.
With two out of the three known saiyans in their SSJ forms, only Gohan remained (I will move onto Trunks in a short while). I assume that Toriyama decided that he might as well make Gohan the main character for a while, so that he can become powerful enough to turn SSJ. I mean, he did beat Freiza senseless, and he did defeat Vegeta back on Earth, doesn't he deserve to become a super saiyan. Sure, he is good, but three super saiyans is ridiculous. Gohan was the first SSJ 2 as well, which must have been Toriyama's way of saying that there will be a new breed of SSJ's.
Trunks was another saiyan who made the grade, in the form of Future Trunks. After finding out how he turned SSJ, I was a little disappointed to say the least. He has become a super saiyan at the age of 14 (Or was it 13…maybe 15 or 16…who cares, it's around that age anyway). Not only does he become a super saiyan at such a young age, but he isn't even that powerful when he turn SSJ. Future Gohan had explained everything to him, and Future Trunks had managed to turn SSJ when Gohan had died, and funnily enough, he went three years with going SSJ 2 (Namely when he arrived on Earth, and wanted to get in with the phenomena). I think that this is just stupid.
Goten and Chibi Trunks from the present are the final examples. Super saiyans from a really young age (Goten made it at 6), and they didn't even need to train anywhere near as hard as Vegeta and Goku, and they weren't even close to their power. This is the final straw.
Son Goku's descendant even became a super saiyan, and he was super weak, got bullied and school, and was almost killed by a load of weak enemies. I for one am sick of all this.
To have one super saiyan is fine, two, maybe, but anymore is just plain stupid. A hyped up legend ruined by stupidity. I would have been happy with just seeing Vegeta and Goku as SSJ's, and Gohan as a really strong fighter, but never quite in the same league as his saiyan counterparts. DBZ is still a great show, but in my opinion, it would be far better without so many SSJ's.
