IS DBZ FOR BABIES?

The question that has long plagued many of our doubting minds is the one that should be most obvious, and it is this: 'Is Dragon Ball Z For Babies?'
Many people from around the globe tune in every weekday to watch it, and many people talk about it in school. They try and re-act the scenes, fighting amongst themselves, trying to be like Goku. You see little kids playing around, doing pretend energy blasts from their hands. You see teenagers jumping up and down, playing very roughly while they take each other down, and copying the stupid poses that their favorite Dragon Ball Z characters do. You see many happy kids, enjoying the popular Akira Toriyama phenomena, which is set to be hotter than pokemon. Why then, do people ask this question? The reasons are many, but the main one is because we get the edited versions of the show.
In the edited version, there is no swearing, and toned down violence. I will go into all that in a later article, but for now, I shall focus squarely on the question posed to us. The people that claim that Dragon Ball Z is for babies are people who don't usually watch it, or people who have never watched it. They say that it is rubbish and for babies because they don't know what's going on, or they refuse to watch it properly. These people tend to be the lazy sods that decide their opinion before they have given the judged thing a chance to prove how good or bad it is. These are the people that are useless, and tend to be the ones who wander the playground alone, with no friends.
The argument against Dragon Ball Z, which would make one side slightly bias towards the fact that it is for younger children is the lack of action. Although it is a fantastic program, there can be large breaks in the action, which can make it slightly slow at times, and without the fighting, it just isn't up to the intense suspense that it would usually have. This happens rarely though.
People start talking about 'The Muscular White Guy' who kicked 'The Guy in Reds' ass. When they are corrected, they say about how they knew that anyway. But what they don't realize is how they have been hooked. Although it isn't something that they would usually talk about, they can't help but talk about the fight. This changes their opinion about it greatly.
Personally, I am a huge fan of Dragon Ball Z, and I am 14, so I don't think that it is for babies. There is a special slot in my schedule, where I take a break from homework to watch the only TV of my day, on cartoon network, as I try to anticipate what will happen next, in the action packed episodes.
In closing, I would like to say that Dragon Ball Z may be aimed at people who start at a younger age in England and America, it doesn't mean that the older people can't watch it too. If anything, it is for the older people, because of the way that the fighting, and anger, and blood would never be aimed at 'babies'.
Next time anyone tells you that Dragon Ball Z is for babies, give them a good outline of the plot, and tell them to watch it. If they do, then I guarantee that they will be hooked. So, in case I haven't made my point valid enough, Dragon Ball Z is for any age, but teenagers will get the most from the show, meaning that it is not for babies.
