Dear Friends,
Not that this letter will do me any good, but I need to get some things off my chest. First, I have a favor to ask of Red Lonewolf (assuming he survives this); I need you to write this all down, the Children of Time especially, the garou and the Elysium, Alabaster, Sebastian, Wessen, Black, Persephone, Hercule, Exclamation Point, you, and the whole shebang. Make sure, that next time, they know.
To the first: You are a warning, let your message be herd at any cost. It is of utmost importance. The antideluvians will come.
To the second: You are the call. You will know when the time is right, I can't really explain it, but you will know. Something will change, and you will know.
To the third: I am sorry if you ever have to fill my shoes. You are the one who will need to satiate the antideluvians. Again, you will know when the time is right, for if you are like me, you too will dream. In my dreams, a red door to salvation led to a ladder. The one called I Am presented himself to me. You, and I, are to prevent Gehenna from happening. The antideluvians will wake, and they will come to you for a sacrifice (the more potent and rare the blood, the better). I Am will explain all else, if he explains more to you (he was hasty in the end and would not say any more).
To all three: Sadly, you will all die. Your purpose will be fulfilled and then sealed by your death. No, I am not thrilled at this, but when the time comes...
My friends, I feel it necessary to leave some last words to you while I can. I thank you all for your help, and I am honored to share my existence with you.
Hercule: My first contact with our kind, thank you for the crash course on the dark gift, without you, I would have died long ago (and I never would have had any fun, now would I). No, I admit, you are not merely a battle machine, although you are very good at it, you are an honorable being, and thank you for your protection and loyalty.
Exclamation Point: I am still not quite sure where you came from or why you joined us, but you were a great help. You are greatly compassionate, in a Brujha way. Thank you for your protection. And yes, you rock.
Red: Thank you for everything. Without you, the three of us would have become garou chow or something worse. Your intellect has gotten us out of some pretty bad jams. I hope you don't blame Gold Dust's and my own death on yourself. This was inevitable from the beginning of our existences. Nothing can change that. Don't blame yourself, like you did with your family.
Friends, I must go now. I don't know what will happen, I just hope I succeed.
The Rat
I don't want to die.
