[Most Important Things in Living with/Surviving HIV/AIDS]

Passion [Have passion; engage in your favorite activities]
Compassion, mercy, forgiveness, peace of mind, love, love, love

Good sense of humor [Laughter is VERY IMPORTANT]
AIDS is a SERIOUS DISEASE -- But at the same time, don't take it too seriously
Get together with your best friends and have a silly, uninhibited conversation
You'll feel much better after having honest talks with your buddies

Singing [Sing the joy of life; karaoke's good too]
Good music & dance (including Asian finger dance; dance even if you have a mobility problem -- swing to your favorite music)
Intellectually stimulating conversation -- keep your mind alert and in touch with the outside world

Friends [You don't have to have many friends; find a few GOOD FRIENDS]
Good friends are hard to come by; you don't know who is your true friend until you experience a crisis; FRIENDS IN NEED ARE FRIENDS INDEED!
