Buford Leeodis Waybacker, an avid coon hunter, a semi-profashional rattler catcher (profashional - that means he dressed perty nice when he was snaking) and a self proclaimed Chef to the Stars (stars-that would be the ones in the sky, because he only cooked at night so's nobody'd steal his secret recipes). His friends calledem B.L. He was born and raised in the Slick Hills of Kiowa County. Most people recognized B.L. by his long flowin beard with a permanent wave in it. People that was not familiar with the Waybacker clan always questioned B.L. as to why he had such an unique beard and such an unusual last name. B.L. explained it the same every time, "If you'd tasted the finest thangs in life, like mesquite smoked meat and suluripin good BBQ sauce, you'd have a kink in yours and you'd have to move way-back-er in the hills to keep people from running over ya!!"

Had it not been for Ant B, (that'd be B.L.'s wife and he called her that cause she wud'nt much bigger than an ant, but she could sure Buzz like a bee),B.L. wouldn't have never come out of them hills and shared them secret recipes. Ant B told em that his cookin drove her plum wild and B.L. admitted it kinda had a afro-dizy-aac affect on himself. So Ant B said, "Why don't we just spread a little love around and share this with other fine folks?" B.L. replied, "He wud'nt counting on his recipes to bring the world peace, but it'd sure make things more excitin around the hills!!"

So that's how it all came to happen, a good ole gal with a good heart and a simple man with a hankerin for excitement past them secrets on down form one generation to the next, in the name of World Peace or at least in the name of a Damn Good Time!!!
