EZtalk is what computer users use to chat in talk
city. Well i found a way for webtv users to have
access to it too. There is pro's and con's though.
The pro's are you can choose any nick name you want,
you can have all the features that computer users
have like locate the room someone is in, you can look
up all kinds of info on poeple like where they live,
their ISP number, and stuff like that. The draw backs
are that its not the best chat, you have to refresh
to see whats been said in the room and its going to
look really wierd. Also its very slow to get
in.
DIRECTIONS
Go below and hit load, this will direct you to talk
city eztalk, you will then see a bar at the middle of
the screen this is where you add the nickname you
want to use. to do this type ( /nick then nick here )
example ( /nick hot_guy1 ).
Then after you do that add this on the line (
/refresh 60 ) this will bring up the refresh button
you need to chat. You have to hit the refresh button
to keep loading the screen to see what people are
saying in the room. Now all you have to do is join a
room and you do this by this code ( /join #roomhere )
remember to add the # before the room name, example (
/join #new2webtv ). There ya go now you can chat.
Once your in a room a list of people in the room will
come up on the side bar. To do a whisper click on
there name and a seperate line on top of the screen
will show up and allow you to do a /msg to them.
COMANDS
You can look up info on
people by doing this ( /whois nickname ) this will
give you all kinds of info on someone just add the
persons name where it says nickname. To locate a room someones on do this ( /locate nickname ) this will
tell you what room someones in. There are lots more
comands and once i figure them out i will post them
as well
