The great thing about fantasizing concerning Atlantis is that no one can prove your mind's pictures or ideas right or wrong. Much can happen in ten thousand years. Who says mankind couldn't produce a culture of the highest order and then a cataclysmic catastrophe comes along, climates change as well as land forms, and humanity must start all over again from scratch.
Xena is one of my favorite super-heroines.

Everyone has an idea of what life might have been for these people ten thousand years ago. Use your imagination and you can put yourself right in the middle of a whole different culture. We had no trouble doing this while doing the research for a complete manuscript upon Atlantis, ten years of writing and researching before the work was finished. The work is called, "A Gift From The Gods". Starting on page six, you read a small selection of that book concerning the Chair Of Forgetfulness. The book ran just under a thousand pages and any publisher was frightened by such a long story. So much for my great American novel! But, it was exciting and a pleasure to put all this on the Internet and perhaps ignite the interest of someone else. Hopefully, that is what I have done. We'll see what kind of feedback I receive. As writers it is our job to move your curiosity in such a fashion as to intrigue you into learning even more about mankind's myths and beliefs. If we are a product of our myths, let them be of the highest order. We are all questers of one sort or another. If Joseph Campbell can lead us down a path of looking at the hero with a thousand faces, is it so improbably that one of them might not be our own? It is better to see ourselves in the place of heroes and heroines than being faceless and not being in charge of our own reality.
