Born in Manila September 11, 1958 and raised in Angeles City, Philippines. Lou now remains comatose since September 16, 1993 moments prior to the birth of our son, Steven "Bud" Stewart.
Here's a little taste:
It's not based on a true story... it is true. Which makes it all the scarier still. It's about a spunky little Filipina immigrated to the US and her white fiancee. They are quite a confident couple. Lou has the successful birth of her first child "Dennis" and Stewart has three prior children. They excitedly go to a prominent southern California hospital in anticipation of the healthy arrival of their son "Anak". Now, in the twentieth century women don't die from childbirth these day's... do they? HMO's are improving health care in America... right? Technology is saving lives everyday. But we still have humans maintaining these hospitals. So technology saves, but stupidity still kills. These days they can speed up or slow down childbirth with the push of a syringe. Monitor, diagnose, evaluate... all these are possible when the staff remains attentive. It's a fact, a healthy woman can still walk into a well-known hospital, in the nineties, and never return.
Sacrificed also is the unborn fetus in the latter stages of labor.
Note: "Anak" translated from Tagalog (official language of the Philippines) means "Child".
"Mahal Kita" means "I love you".
