BOSS FIGHT WALKTHROUGHS
I HAVE HAD MANY REQUESTS FOR HELP DEFEATING BOSSES IN THE GAME. THIS PORTION IS NOT COMPLETED
Fake President and Gerogero

After Squall completes his task with uncoupling the trains you will enter the President's coach and, after talking with him, discover that something is not right with this character...something big.
Fake President
HP: 52-778

Gerogero
HP: 350-3650
AP: 20
Very weak vs. Holy
Weak vs. Fire and Earth
Immune to poison
Before entering this fight save yourself the inconvenience of KO'ing to such a weak enemy and make sure one of your chars have the Item ability junctioned.  Also make sure that Zell and Selphie get their
junctions back.

In the beginning of this fight you will be happy to hear that you have just hijacked a fake president (Tell 'em what they've won!).  He is very distraught and intimidating but he is slow with attacks and you should
be able to eliminate him with simple attacks (Also take a look at his HP).  Also he carries Cure, and its your for that taking.  However once you get rid of the fake president he will...morph...into another, bigger, beast known as Gerogero.

This boss is undead and has a wide variety of status effects that, if your not prepared, can quickly eliminate your party or, after using Berserk or Silence, keep your members from using anything but basic attacks.  That is why it is basically a must that you have at least one char equipped with the Item ability.

There are two ways to go about this ordeal.  Since Gerogero is undead, Recovery magic will have the opposite effect on Gerogero so by using a variety or Cure and Holy magic you can quickly eliminate this
boss.

Since I am the type of player that uses any means possible to take the easy way out in order to keep fights from lasting any longer than utterly possible I chose the second option.  As I said before since Gergero is an undead creature Recovery magic will have the opposite effect on him I chose to use either a Pheonix Down, Elixir, or X-Potion to completely eliminate this boss within moments.  Since each of those spells completely restore life, to an undead creature they completely diminish it leaving you the victor every time.

Keep in mind that Pheonix Downs have the ability to fail at times whereas Elixirs and X-Potions do not.  Fortunately I had a few spare Elixirs even at this early point in the game so it is possible that you may
have other options too.
