Nowadays it seems that the environment is all around us.  I cant even walk out my door without the environment poking its nose into my life.  I cant even breathe without that pesky environment rearing its ugly head.  Oddly enough, I have not heard a single candidate come out against the environment.  Oh wait, that is because coming out the environment is like saying I dont like music.  The only people that dont like the environment are huge profit driven corporations and have you heard the muzac in their elevators (they must hate music.)  To everyone else the environment should be a top priority in their voting decision.  I dont understand how anyone can trick themselves into believing that the environment isnt important.  We have no future as a species unless we maintain an environmental situation that will support us.  All of our political issues and debates are irrelevant if we are all dead and mole people rule the world.  Since the importance of the environment is a given, a persons decision on which candidates environmental policies they agree with has to do with how they feel the government should be involved with environmental protection and cleanup.
