This is a variation of the color pickers that you most likely have seen on other pages. This one will change the colors by simply pointing at them. Do not click to change the page color here.   Get the source   here.

This page has a search feature which allows you to choose from several search engines. It also has a form that will show your browser information and IP# through a proxy when using the default URL, and it will translate any other URL typed in to the language you choose from the menu. The html source to add either of these features to your web page is available. I did not write either of these scripts, but I did not steal them either. The authors made them available for anyone who wants to copy and use them. That is a pretty good sign that these are nice people who deserve credit for their work and generosity. Others are not so nice or generous, for example the people who put those annoying no right click scripts on a page. You might get a good laugh out of these people who are so worried that you will "steal their code", the next time you get an annoying no right click pop up press alt+v then c if using IE or alt+v then u using Netscape, read the source and take notice that about 90% of them copied the no right click script form some place like Dynamic Drive or freescripts.com. Of course you can also press alt+f then a and steal a copy of their code and sometimes the pictures. The source will also reveal the exact URL of any pictures, if you really want them. If all this fails you can still go to your browser settings and disable javascript to "steal" the things they most likely downloaded from a free site. By now it should be obvious that I encountered one of those annoying no right click pop ups while I was thinking of what to include on this page.

During a time when most of the U.S. government was concentrationg on ways to stop terrorism, at least one member of congress was more concerned with unmitigated greed. Fortunately the attempt to legalize hacking of our computers by the RIAA failed. Read a detailed article here. Beware of accepting any "updates" for any of your media players. You may also want to have a program to ensure that you have the ability to back up your mp3 files. This is a 42kb.zip file and includes a Read Me file. Download here.

Web based proxy (google's translate system)

Choose a language

This is an interesting translation through a proxy. Click Fetch page with the pre loaded URL in the form and it will display a page with information about your browser with your IP # in the block that says X-Forwarded-For. Choose a different website you want to see translated and choose a language and the page will be displayed in the language of your choice.

This translator is compliments of Corto. If you want the html source to add it to your page it's posted on this page.
