MI-100 12 Volt DC at 1 amp Power Supply One of the greatest problems with experimenting with cellular telephones in the home is obtaining a source of 12 volts like that which is present in a car's cigarette lighter. The fone's battery eliminators always require this voltage to run the fone correctly. If you are using ESN changing cables, G2 software, or a copy-cat, you will definatley want the voltage stability and extra amperage available with this power supply. Extra current is required when burning ESN's and not having a hefty power supply can cause garbled data to be written. Also, CB's ham radios, and some scanners also have a 12 Volt input. Anyone who wants to experiment with radar detectors, radar jamming, etc.. also needs a power supply that can supply the correct voltage. Don't apply the wrong voltage to your valuable equipment! It can easily burn out!! Most 12V power supplies that you might see for sale are in the 200-500 ma (thats milliamp) range. This is NOT sufficient to operate devices such as bag or installed cellular fones with a 3 watt output, or CBs with a 4 watt output. Our 1 amp supply is capable of providing the power to these devices. (By the way, you cannot "blow out" a device by using a power supply with 'too many amps'. You MUST match the voltage, but the device will only draw as much current (as many amps) as it requires, and not more. If you go to Radio Shack and ask for a 12 Vdc at 200 ma supply, that's exactly what you get. What their salesmen don't know is that you might as well get the biggest amperage supply, because it won't hurt your device.)
This power supply will supply voltage to any device that requires 12V-13.8 VDC, and is very highly regulated (cheaper power supplies induce a 60 Hz interference into your devices, which can manifest themselves as an annoying 'buzz' in the audio of your CB, ham radio, or cellular telephone. This noise can also garble data when programming cellular telephones.)
The power supply comes with a cigarette lighter socket for you to plug in your device, but we can furnish a power supply with your choice of connector.
You will not find a power supply with this much power and regulation for a lower price anywhere else: $14.95

MI-101 Infrared Filter This high-quality Infrared filter was made in Germany by Kodak/Wratten, a leader in optical films and lenses. It blocks visible light and passes only infra-red. If you have priced night-vision light sources, you know that a simple Mag-Lite (tm) brand flashlight with an IR filter installed can cost as much as $279.00!! With this filter you can make your own flashlight IR sources for night vision for much less! These filters can also be placed over the lens of the Sony brand NightShot camcorders allowing them to see through clothing! You have probably heard about this on recent newscasts- and as a result, camera stores have been selling out of IR filters all over the country! At Hacker Central, we still have plenty in stock! Others have been selling for hundreds of dollars, and they do not even block all visible light. Your price for this 75 mm X 75 mm filter is only:
$34.95! UPDATE: THIS ITEM SOLD OUT AND IS NO LONGER AVAILABLE.
