First Season


#1 "The Informer" - PILOT EPISODE 9/17/65

This pilot episode, filmed in black and white, takes us on

a tour of Stalag 13, and introduces us to each of the

characters and their individual talents. The Germans plant

a spy, Wagner, among the prisoners. When Wagner spills the

beans about Hogan's operation, the heroes set out to

discredit him.
 

#2 "Hold That Tiger" 9/24/65

Colonel Klink's boast that the German's new Tiger tank will

shorten the war causes Hogan to think that the Allies should

have a set of blueprints. Hogan develops an elaborate plan

to have one of the tanks brought to Stalag 13, where the

heroes can dismantle it, draw up blueprints, and reassemble

it, right under their captors' noses.
 

#3 "Kommandant of the Year" 10/1/65

Knowing the Allies won't bomb a POW camp, the Germans stash

an experimental rocket-bomb in Stalag 13. London sends an

Allied scientist to photograph and sabotage the bomb. To

distract Klink, the heroes arrange for him to be named

Kommandant of the Year.
 

#4 "The Late Inspector General" 10/8/65

Hogan and his men try to convince the Inspector General that

Klink is a cold disciplinarian so that he will pass

inspection and keep away from the Russian front. The plan

works, but too well-- Klink is promoted to a post in Berlin!
 

#5 "The Flight of the Valkyrie" 10/15/65

Hogan's mission to help a German baroness escape to England

is hampered by the arrival of the new senior POW-- Colonel

Crittendon. Crittendon believes that a POW's primary

responsibility is to escape, and his repeated bungled

attempts threaten to ruin Hogan's operation.
 

#6 "The Prisoner's Prisoner" 10/22/65

While on a sabotage job, Carter and Hogan are surprised by

a German general. They overpower the General and smuggle him

into camp along with a group of new prisoners. The heroes

trick the General into revealing his troop's attack plans by

convincing him that he is suffering from "shacklitis."
 

#7 "German Bridge Is Falling Down" 10/29/65

After several botched attempts to demolish a German bridge,

Hogan takes a new approach -- using the German's own ammo to

blow it up.
 

#8 "Movies Are Your Best Escape" 11/5/65

A general visits Stalag 13 with a briefcase chained to his

wrist. Sneaking the documents out of the case and

photographing them proves difficult enough, but then Hogan

has to figure out a way to get the photos out of camp.
 

#9 "Go Light on the Heavy Water" 11/12/65

Hogan is determined to find out what is inside the heavily

guarded truck parked inside the camp. Is it really just

water, as everyone insists?
 

#10 "Top Hat, White Tie and Bomb Sight" 11/19/65

Hogan convinces his captors that he is switching his

loyalties over to their side. He hints that he will reveal

military secrets in exchange for a visit in town-- during

which he plans to pass along information to his underground

contact.
 

#11 "Happiness is a Warm Sergeant" 11/26/65

When Schultz gets drunk while escorting Newkirk to the

dentist, he is replaced by a much tougher guard. Hogan and

the gang conspire to discredit the new guard and restore

Schultz to his post.
 

#12 "The Scientist" 12/3/65

LeBeau assists a captured French scientist who is working

for the Germans because they are holding his daughter. The

heroes help the scientist and his daughter get out of

Germany, but then they have to come up with a substitute to

present the scientist's findings.
 

#13 "Hogan's Hofbrau" 12/10/65

Two panzer officers have been putting pressure on Klink to

donate money to a phony cause, and Klink promises to deliver

at a later date. The two give Klink an ultimatum: bring

5,000 marks to Hilda's that evening or never be heard from

again. Hogan hands 5,000 marks to the officers, saving

Klink's life.
 

#14 "Oil for the Lamps of Hogan" 12/17/65

Well aware that the Allies will not bomb a POW camp, the

Germans plan to build a synthetic fuel plant at Stalag 13.

To prevent this disaster, Hogan convinces Klink that there

is a vast oil supply underneath the camp. To change the

Nazi's minds, Hogan orders a phony air raid on the camp.
 

#15 "Reservations Are Required" 12/24/65

Hogan agrees to take in two escapees, but finds himself with

twenty men to outfit with uniforms and papers! Klink

tightens security and posts two guards right at the end of

the tunnel! Hogan realizes he must give up the escape

tunnel in order to get the men out. He orders LeBeau,

Newkirk and Carter to break through and give themselves up

to the guards. While Klink is looking for the tunnel

entrance, the twenty men leave through the other end.
 

#16 "Anchors Aweigh, Men of Stalag 13" 12/31/65

Captain Michaels, a British POW has escaped from Stalag 5

with a new German gunsight, and Hogan smuggles both into

camp. London wants both, but the submarine is out of

commission. At Hogan's suggestion, Klink approves the

construction of an officer's club in the shape of a yacht.

Klink orders it driven to the sea, and Captain Michaels and

the gunsight set sail for England.
 

#17 "Happy Birthday, Adolf" 1/7/66

Hogan learns that London is planning a probing raid on a

section of German beach, scheduled for Hitler's birthday.

But there's a major gun emplacement that would have to be

knocked out in order for the raid to be successful.
 

#18 "The Gold Rush" 1/14/66

With the arrival of a new prisoner comes the information

that a large shipment of gold which was stolen by the

Germans from the Bank of France is being stored at a bank

nearby. Hogan decides to steal the gold back and return it

to France after the war. But will Colonel Klink figure out

that the gold he's searching for is hidden under his very

nose?
 

#19 "Hello, Zolle" 1/21/66

General Stofle, an old chum of Klink's, comes for a furtive

visit to Stalag 13. Hogan radios London with news of

Stofle's arrival and is ordered to detain the General for

twenty four hours- long enough for the Allies mount an

attack on Stofle's forces.
 

#20 "It Takes a Thief...Sometimes" 1/28/66

Hogan decides to join forces with a new underground unit in

an effort to sabotage a local railroad tunnel. When the

group leader turns up at camp, Hogan learns that they are

actually undercover Gestapo agents out to trap the real

saboteurs.
 

#21 "The Great Impersonation" 2/4/66

Captured during a sabotage mission, LeBeau, Newkirk and

Carter are being held by the Gestapo for questioning. In

order to free them, Colonel Hogan persuades Sergeant Schultz

to masquerade as Klink and demand his prisoners' release.

But it isn't easy turning the soft-hearted sergeant into a

convincingly nasty colonel.
 

#22 "The Pizza Parlor" 2/11/66

An Italian POW camp kommandant is sent to Stalag 13 to train

under Colonel Klink, but the war-hating Major wants to

defect to Switzerland. Hogan tries to persuade Bonacelli to

go to work for the Allies, by plying him with pizza.
 

#23 "The 43rd, A Moving Story" 2/25/66

Hogan's plan to destroy a German mobile anti-aircraft

battery is interrupted by Klink's power hungry second-in-

command, Major Kuehn.
 

#24 "How to Cook a German Goose by Radar" 3/4/66

An elderly American corporal is brought to Stalag 13, but

Hogan and the men soon decide they don't care for his aloof

attitude and selfishness. Hogan masterminds the corporal's

transfer and then discovers that the man is actually a

general, who has come to Hogan for help in carrying out a

sabotage mission.
 

#25 "Psychic Kommandant" 3/11/66

Hogan and his men learn that the Luftwaffe's new silent

aircraft has been brought to the stalag for testing. As a

noiseless aircraft could wreak havoc on Allied planes, Hogan

must discredit the invention so the Germans will cease its

production.
 

#26 "The Prince from the Phone Company" 3/18/66

Kinch switches places with an African prince as part of

Hogan's plot to swindle 500,000 marks from the Germans.
 

#27 "The Safecracker Suite" 3/25/66

Klink's reunion with his old military buddy comes to an

abrupt end when the man is arrested by the Gestapo. Will

guilt-by-association cause Klink to end up in the clink?
 

#28 "I Look Better in Basic Black" 4/1/66

Hogan's men aren't interested in tunneling into the barracks

where three new prisoners are being held- until they learn

that the prisoners are women!
 

#29 "The Assassin" 4/8/66

The heroes are ordered to assassinate a German nuclear

scientist, and Colonel Crittendon insists on performing the

unpleasant. But before bungling Crittendon can carry out the

deed, the scientist comes to Hogan asking for help in

defecting from Germany.
 

#30 "Cupid Comes to Stalag 13" 4/15/66

General Burkhalter suggests that marrying into the right

family can do a lot for an officer's career, then introduces

Klink to his sister and niece. The General is trying to

marry off his battle-ax sister Gertrude, but Klink believes

that he is intended for the beautiful niece. Klink is

crushed when the widow Gertrude is the one who shows up for

dinner and not the niece. In return for Hogan's help, Klink

promises to get a good night's sleep.
 

#31 "The Flame Grows Higher" 4/22/66

There is a weak link in the underground's escape route and

Hogan is determined to find it. Hogan, LeBeau and Newkirk

break out of camp and follow the escape route themselves.
 

#32 "Request Permission to Escape" 4/29/66

Carter receives a "Dear John" letter from his girlfriend

back home and wants to escape so he can go home and win her

back. Hogan grants Carter permission to escape, as soon as

he performs one last mission-- passing false battle plans on

to the enemy.
