 | Another robot from Johuco. This one is called the Muramator or "wall-lover". It uses an Infra-red emitter and detector to sense obstacles and avoid them. It has two levels of behavior. It's primary behavior is to move forward until something triggers it's sensor, then it stops and backs up( turning to the left as it does so ). The second level of behavior is that when the robot has gone too long without encountering an obstacle, it will stop, turn and seek out an obstacle. In this way it always tries to stay near a wall ( or the edges of it's "world" ). A fun robot to play with as it zooms forward, spins around and takes off in another direction. |
