Bob was married to Kate. One night night, Kate came home early, and
caught Bob having an affair with Edith. Kate immediately filed for a
divorce-- proving that you can't have your Kate and Edith, too.

Two Eskimos sitting in a kayak were chilly, but when they lit a fire in
the boat, it sank -- proving once and for all that you can't have your
kayak and heat it, too.
