INSTALLATION OF E-DEN
Dear beta tester,
Thanks for showing an interest in e-den.

You'll have to make a parent directory, c:\biology

then 4 subdirectories:
    c:\biology\cstbmps
    c:\biology\defbmps
    c:\biology]protectd
    c:\biology\hyper

There are 5 zip files which should be placed as follows

eden.zip in c:\biology = > c:\biology\eden.exe and c:\biology\decode.exe
cstbmps.zip in c:\biology\cstbmps = > many *.bmp files
defbmps.zip in c:\biology\defbmps = > many *.bmp files
protectd.zip in c:\biology\protectd = > a few *.ini files and one or two *.opt files
world.zip in c:\biology = > world.wld

Nothing needs to be put in c:\biology\hyper but this will be used for transferred internet files.

You'll need a copy of winsock.dll but most people already have one
 - and you must have one if you got this over the net through a windows application

(I guess C:\biology should be C:\eden but this program started life as biology.exe)

If you need to use another directory or drive then you'll have to pass the directory name as
 a command line argument...
eden E:\mydir

REMEMBER:
This is a beta version. It contains debugging code which traces function calls but slows it down.
This extra code will have to be removed in a later version. If it crashes or throws exceptions
let me know and send me a copy of c:\biology\hyper\log.txt , with any details you can think of.
I am only a hobbyist programmer so if you can see ways to do things better, let me know.
I might not have time to implement the changes right away but I will produce a slicker version
of e-den eventually. I'm looking for people able to provide genuine coding assistance.
I'm also willing to change the rules of e-den if a significant number of beta-testers support the
 change.
