Janusz Korczak gave hope and his life for orphins!
Raoul Wallenberg, a Swedish diplomat, risked his life, saving thousands of Jews, during WWII. When the red army came to Budapest, Raoul had a last mission to provide food for the surviving Jews. The Russian secret police probably took him for a spy, (Who would help a Jew, if you are not a Jew?) and imprisoned him in the former Soviet Union. If he is still alive, he should be 94 years old (by 2006). A younger picture to the left, in his thirties to the right
He was known to be alive as late as the 1980�s, by accounts from other fellow prisoners, who have served many years in prison. He has been in the Ljubljanka prison in Moscow, later in the Vladimir prison.

If this last part is true, When will we know?
