The Spanish Wine Country

There were a couple of reasons why I wanted to visit the Spanish wine country. One was the fact that I have never been to a wine vinyard dominated region. The second reason was that I really wanted to get off the boat!

  • Here I am in front of some kind of basket deep within one of the many cellars.

Though it is slightly blurry, here I am, on the left, and Matt Landry on the right, in front of huge cask at the Cordoniu Winery.

Dave Shasteen, within the depths of one of the cellars beneath the Cordoniu building.

    110 million bottles of wine.

The Spanish meal, similar to gumbo, but with a whole lot more!!!. It had crawfish, which you definitely see in the picture, rice, shrimp, clams, squid, octupus, pork sausage, as well other things I did not want to know about. But it was still good food, despite the unusual substance that a redneck boy from Alabama has never tried.
