Here is a recent photograph that was obviously taken at the Grand Canyon.
It may appear that I am VERY close to the edge of the rim, but in reality
it wasn't really that bad. As it turns out, the next ledge is about 2 feet
down with plenty of space for an adequate recovery. The season is about
the middle of spring, which explains why I don't have a jacket on...
I wish I could describe all the rock formations behind me, but frankly I don't
really remember... I just remember how BIG the whole thing was. And how grueling
was the hike down into the canyon - more about that later...
I highly recommend a visit to the Canyon if you have the opportunity, there
is nothing on the planet quite like it!
