ABOUT KAR KARE:

This is the third version of my Kar Kare software!

Kar Kare was written initially because I am the type who will take his car to the shop when metal parts start poking out of the hood! :) Since I fell in love with the PalmPilot, and carry it everywhere with me, I figured it would be the perfect tool to keep me on track with my car's scheduled maintenance.

Enter Kar Kare -- the original Kar Kare was developed over several weeks in my "spare" time after work. The second version took a few hundred more hours and was developed primarily to add features that people were writing to me and asking for!

Kar Kare is written in C, using the GCC development tools for Microsoft Windows, PilRC from Wes Cherry, and CoPilot from Greg Hewgill. If you are new to PalmPilot development, and are looking for a great set of tools to get started with, seek these out on the Web!

My goals were to make Kar Kare easy to use and something that would be useful for people on the go (sounds like the PalmPilot!) I hope you enjoy the program...
