Where Do I Look?

A search action in any search engine can also lead to the required expert. When you fill in: +expert +ask +subject, the search machine will refer you to a number of �ask an expert' sites.

For general questions, you are can ask at the following sites:

• Scientific American
• ScienceNet
• About.com/
• ExpertCentral
• AskERIC
  If you have a question on any educational topic, AskERIC's Question and answer Service staff, who are trained experts, will respond to your question within a day or two with an annotated bibliography of web sites and journal articles and books on the topic.
• LookSmart Live
  even guarantee that one of their staff will send you an adequate answer within 24 hours

These sites contain a comprehensive list of FAQs, i.e., Frequently Asked Questions. It is a good idea to consult this list first; maybe someone has asked your question before, and the answer has already been answered.
