1 Tbs. each parsley and sweet basil 1 small onion, diced 2 Tbs. butter 8 cups chicken broth salt & pepper
1.In a large pot melt the butter over medium heat.
2.Add the onion and cook until just translucent, then add the herbs and allow to cook until the herbs become aromatic.
3.Reduce heat, add the chicken broth, salt & pepper to taste, and simmer for at least 1/2 hour.
4.Serve hot.
