Notes for "Joe" Joseph Ladimir SLADOVNIK
In 1910, he lived with his dad, mom, brothers' and sisters' in Bell Co., TX. In 1920 Joseph, his wife, Lena and their 9-month-old baby boy, Jessie, were living in Falls Co., TX. with his brother, Frank, and his wife and daughter, along with
their brothers, Henry and Eddie. Also, on the 1920 TX. Soundex, Joseph was listed as a boarder at 2220 Lincoln Ave., in Ft.Worth, TX., the home of Annie Chaloufka. He went to work for Swift & Co. in 1921. During the late 1920's & early
1930's, he was living on Handley Dr., which used to be known as Stop 6, on the Eastside of Ft.Worth, TX. While he was living on Handley Dr., Victor Frnka and family visited quite often, and Joseph would claim that Victor was his cousin, and
they were his kinfolk. This Victor, born about 1891, was the son of Jan Jindrich Frnka, who was a son of Josef & Anna Frnka.
