The point at which the Iran war definitely
comes, is when even the so called (Democrats) opposition, is itself in such a
blue funk about the French Revolution type logic of the coming linear geo
pol/econ collapse (eg which would NOT stop at indicting Bush. In
fact it would not stop – so rotten to the core is the entire body political
economic), that they would welcome any diversion (eg Grand
Strategy of Tension outrage; as pretext for) leading to the Iran war.
Eg the Democrats don’t actually have to win much more
power for this to happen. They just have to become sufficiently
frightened of the prospect of holding (significantly more
responsibility for) the leaking sack of radioactive manure that is the USA
petrodollar credit expansionary geo pol/econ – for this to happen.
This is the classic hallmark of Caesarism.
That nothing scares the old (patrician) political class quite so much as a
return to (albeit superficially) republican government.
Now, you might think this is to do with the electoral
cycle. But, if Bush’ position falls away so precipitously, that a sufficient
wider current develops for impeachment, even the prospect of an electoral
breakthrough, (or egregious voting irregularities preventing such - with
volatile consequences) can so threaten the democrat psyche with the prospect of
responsible power in one form or another, that they would seize any opportunity
to seek refuge behind the imperial purple.
Alternatively, if by some quirk Bush’ position
strengthens, the Iran war becomes an option/ develops hubristic critical
momentum from that angle.
So that in fact at the time of writing 18/6/06, humanity is perched on the crumbling ledge of history, between the 2.
HOW does this relate to the role of external powers/
factors, before/ present/ later???
Eg if the Democrats go nose to tail behind the imperial
purple, what of others (eg Britain/ Germany/ Russia)?
Eg to what extent is it weakness at home that emboldens
wider diplomatic elite resistance, & to what extent (if any) would this be
quashed by the Democrats going nose to tail behind the imperial purple???
So that paradoxically, Bush’ weakness becomes a rallying
strength???
Eg currently (18/6/06), there is something of a feedback
loop – wider resistance (geo politically), feeds internal resistance – feeding
geo resistance & so on & so forth – UNTIL the
corresponding threat of a linear crash, allows the last move (the Iran war) to
be played out - enabled by Democrats desperate to line up behind the imperial
purple…
Eg the critical point is the psychology of & options
confronting Margaret Beckett. Eg if a Grand Strategy of Tension action is so
obviously a (especially mistimed) sham, she will want to (as discreetly as can
be done) step away from such (it being easier to do so than to stand by such).
IF however, the USA political class is solidly behind the imperial purple, it
means taking such an exposed lead as to declare war on the Sept
11th 2001 official version (& going to war against Hilary
Clinton).
So that if she falls into line, so will all the other
diplomatic dominoes…
The most obvious cause/ detonator, is that being prepared in Israel/ Palestine
vis the (USA led) blockade of the Palestinian people (USA neo con regime is
also forbidding Arab governments from assisting the Palestinian people) on the
one hand & critically, the Israeli governments’ decision to expel 4 Hamas
PA members from east Jerusalem unless they renounce membership of the PA
which can only raise the gravest terror among the
Palestinian population of East Jerusalem that radical Fatah/ leftists will also
be targeted if this incendiary measure does not go unchecked, denying
representation to the Palestinian people of
East Jerusalem in such fashion as to effectively liquidate in a single
action/ process, BOTH their claim to sovereignty and their
acknowledged right to live in East Jerusalem.
For at a time when the USA is banging the drum for war
against Iran, this can only be considered a co-ordinated opportunistic
provocation shielded by the World Cup & designed to incite such a
reaction among the Palestinians as to provide a pretext for the ethnic
cleansing of the Palestinian population.
Which in turn will compel the Iranians to take a much
harder line – providing the superficial pretext for war…
BUT, the key issue is to
demolish resistance to the Iran war, particularly in congress. & this
requires using the geo political fallout from the Hamas reps expulsion as the narrative
backdrop for a grand strategy of tension action to allow the political
class to surrender themselves/ seek refuge behind the imperial purple – the decisive
precondition for the Iran war….
Though, we did not spot the expulsion of East Jerusalem
Hamas reps as at least the context (providing the narrative backdrop) for
the Grand Strategy of Tension trigger before; until the
open mooting of withdrawal of British forces from Iraq (16/6/06) focussed our
mind on the Q of how exactly Bush would get his Iran war; how/ why USA
specifically able to use this for the Iran war.
