Lasy said, "Hi, has anyone recently passed through here, probably wounded?"
She looked up and said, "Yes..he went north..to escape the evil," Lasy was confused what this evil was, but she thought this had to be Kalm, so she decided she would had north too. Before she left though the woman called out, "The evil is after you, too,"
Lasy walked north through the desert for hours before she came upon a whirling pool of sand, she knew what she was about to do was insane, but she did it anyway. Lasy dove into the whirling pool of sand, she didnt know why she did it, maybe because she was out of her mind from the heat, the sand sucked her up, and dropped her back into a normal looking cavern where she found a man face down, wearing all red and a red cape. She turned him around and patted him a couple times in the face and he came to.
The man said, "Who..who are you?"
Lasy replied, "My name is Lasy, who are you?"
The man said, "Um..." and he punched Lasy to knock her back. Then he ran off.
Lasy said, "Ow! Hey, where you going!" Lasy got up and quickly ran the corner, but the man was gone. There was another injured girl though, she had a dagger stuck in her leg. Lasy removed the dagger and said, "You alright?"
She said, "Heh, almost caught him," and she extended her hand out to Lasy's and said, "Help me up, hm?" and Lasy pulled her up.
Lasy reluctantly asked, "Who are you?"
She whispered, "Im the thief, Yal," Yal was greatly tanned, had pink hair down to her mid-back and had own two golden bracelets, each embedded with multicolored gems. She was wearing orange clothes and had blue eyes, she looked around and said, "Looks like that weird man got away from me...get a move on and help me find him!"
Lasy stared at her blankly, rolled her eyes and said, "Yes 'mam," and they walked down the hallway together. They came to a large circular room, the floor was made of sand once again.
The entire room began shaking violently and a voice beneath the sand, getting louder and louder started shouting, "Kill! Kill! Kill!" and Marmazak rose out of the sand. Marmazak said, "I am Marmazak, Daethir's Minion of Earth, and I will crush you all to tiny bits!"
Yal said, "My goodness, what is that thing?!"
Lasy said, "Trouble.." and she began shooting at it with both her handguns but they had no effect on Marmazak, all the bullets just falling at his feet.
Yal drew out two silver daggers and said, "Now, its my turn!" and jumped through the air, leaping right at Marmazak, she slashed at him twice, but did nothing, and Marmazak slapped her away, sending her soaring against the wall of the cavern. Marmazak raised his arms and shouted, "Sand Obliteration!" and sand rose up into the air, forming into spikes, and raced down at Lasy.
Yal said, "Not so fast!" and held up one of her arms with her bracelets, and the spikes shot into a brown colored gem on her bracelet. Yal leapt into the air and pointed her finger down at Marmazak, sending down a snake-dragon made of rocks down at Marmazak.
Marmazak laughed saying, "Earth not destroy!" then Marmazak thrust his fist into the ground and a gigantic hole opened up and Lasy and Yal fell down, both screamed as they fell down. When they reached the bottom, Yal was uncounscious and bleeding, and Lasy was bleeding all over.
Lasy looked around, but there really wasnt much to see, they were in an extremely dark room with candles lining the walls, but that didnt help the lighting, sand slowly fell down through the roof from which the two of them had fallen. Lasy threw her handguns into the air and turned them into a shotgun. Lasy moved around to the edge of the room, feeling around the walls for a doorway or some sort of exit, she couldnt find one. Then suddenly, Lasy heard a low moan followed by a load gurgling sound behind her, coming from the center of the room. Lasy slowly turned to see a large translucent blob rising slowly from the center of the room. It continued to grow and grow till it had filled the room, pinning Lasy up against the wall and encompassing Yal within its gooey mass. Within the center of its goo it had an eye with a brown pupil, that was watching Lasy. Lasy spoke softly, "Oh great, what next..."
She began running around the chamber, shooting wildly, but her guns were having no effect. Then the pupil was surrounded by a blue light and shot out a red energy beam at Lasy, pinning her up against the wall. Lasy dropped her shotgun while being held up against the wall. Then the sludge began to move towards her. Lasy looked down at it, "Ugh, im not done with you quite yet," and reached over onto the wall, grabbing a torch, she started slamming it down on the blob. The entire ooze setting aflame, and started shrieking. Lasy said, "Well well well," then she picked her shotgun back up, and while facing the blazing ooze, she fired at another torch on the other side of the room, knocking it off the wall, and ontop of the blob. It finished setting every inch of him ablaze, and he slowly evaporated, groaning with his last breath. Lasy said, "Stupid oozes, getting tired of them," then a door opened to her right. She said, "How convienent," and picked up Yal, walking out of the room with her.
