Part I Earth Realm begins...
Chapter I - How to Lose Oneself
In Earthrealm, there was a small town where most of the civilians were skilled with weapons of some sort, but not until they reached about 25 years old at the least.  But one person living there, about 18 or 19 years old, who was one of the best skilled swordmen in the village, his name was Kalm, and his best friend, a little younger, at the age of 16, was named Rastol.  Kalm had purple hair, and had deep blue eyes, he was rather tall, Rastol was shorter then him and always wore red, even a red cape, Kalm often teased him for this.  The village was ordinary, with small houses made of brick, all the houses were the same, and it was built at the base of the mountaintop.  Kalm and Rastol had never left the village before, but they had ventured in the mountain many times, and fought many strange monsters.  They were not expecting on this day, however, to be invaded by a General Aznal, one of Daethir's General's, and have their village be taken over.

Rastol had just burst into Kalm's house, his cape flailing behind him.  Kalm's house was very ordinary, just like the outside of his house.  There was a single cabinet, one wooden table with a few chairs, and a bed in the main room, and a few rooms in the back where his parents slept.  At this particular moment his parents were gone.  Rastol said, "Hey, lets go up into the mountains, I saw a big group of guys go up there,"

Kalm stood up slowly and replied with interest, "Really? Sounds fun, lets have a look," and the two of them rushed outside.  There was a solid line of black living flames (some of Daethir's forces), and a large amount of soldiers marching up into the mountains, the General was nowhere to be seen, obviously way ahead of the forces, there was thousands of their forces, they seemed uninterested with the houses, just with something in the mountain.  Kalm said, "Wow..lots of them, arent there?"  They waited for what seemed like forever to them till all the troops were up in the mountain, then they followed, they didnt want to attract attention.  Once they were up in the mountains.  A couple of the black flames had noticed them, they werent with the rest of the troops.

Rastol chuckled, "So much for hiding!  Who are you guys?"

The black flame stared him right in the eyes.  It was pitch black with two bright red eyes and two blood red fangs.  It growled, "We are part of General Aznal's Army Division,"

Rastol said, "You must be proud of yourself!"

Kalm was growing tired of Rastol chit chatting with the flame and drew his sword.  It was a long thick blade made of pure silver, but it was amazingly light as well.  Kalm then leapt into the air and slammed the blade down on one of the dark flames, sparks came off of it as his blade came down.

Rastol said, "Is that blood?" then Rastol raised his hand and a blue light surrounded him then he shouted, "Water Spike!" and a sphere of water impaled one of the flames, distingrating it into nothingness.

One of the flames then tossed a black ball of flame at Kalm, scorching his arm.  Then the other leapt at Rastol, but he rolled to the side.  Rastol chuckled and said, "Is that the best you can do?" then three orbs surronded him, "Mystical Orb Blast!" and the three orbs slammed into the flame that tried to jump upon him, exploding in purple flashes, then the flame dissapeared in a purple flash.

Kalm, "Hey, Rastol, stop it!" and then Kalm released a rapid series of slashes finishing in a leap in the air and coming upon the flame with a kick.  The force of the kick knocking the flame off the mountainside.  Kalm then turned to Rastol, "Lets try not to let anymore of them find us,"

Rastol said, "Right!" and the two of them continued up the curving mountain trail.

Eventually it came to a large opening, most of their soldiers were apparently elsewhere, because only a two knights were guarding the small ledge they would need to climb to get into the opening.

Rastol said, "Hey, I got a great idea, you go into the opening, ill handle these guys,"

Kalm, "Sure? Its not like fighting monsters, whoever these guys are, they mean business,"

Rastol said, "Hey, Ill be fine,"

Kalm, "Alright," the two of them moved forward.

The Knights said, "Who are you two? Im afraid ill have to ask you to leave, or we'll be forced to use deadly force,"

Rastol said, "Ill show you deadly force!"

The Knights moved closer to Rastol, then Kalm rushed by them and up into the ledge, into a big opening, there was a large towering purple beast, with electricity jumping all over him, facing him was one man in a big white cape, and shining silver armor.  The man turned to face Kalm.

The man said, "Who in the world are you?"

Kalm said, "Im Kalm, who are you?

The man said, "General Aznal, you should leave, the beast will kill you if I dont,"

Kalm said, "Yeah right!"

General Aznal chuckled, "Its an ancient creature, I am not sure of its purpose, but its very powerful, rest assured, its name is Cremorfar, I was ordered to find it, and destroy your village,"

Kalm clenched his fist and said, "By who?"

General Aznal chuckled, "The Great Warlord Daethir,"

Kalm whispered, "I wont let you do anything to my hometown,"

Then Cremorfar suddenly growled, "Kill him...Kalm.."

General Aznal replied, "It speaks!" and he drew his sword, a golden broadsword, "Lets see how good you are, boy!"

Kalm replied to Cremorfar, "I will kill him," then he replied to Aznal, "Lets see how bad you are!" and he leapt at Aznal clashing his sword then Azn bal spun around but Kalm quickly brought his sword to his side to block.  Kalm then began raising their sword up with all his might, "Your pretty strong there, General,"

Cremorfar replied, "No match.." and a static bolt shot into Aznal, electrocuting him, leaving him there.

Kalm turned to Cremorfar, breathing heavily, then Rastol suddenly came up behind him.

Rastol said, "Sorry it took me so long!  Those knights were a pain,"

Kalm just knew somehow that Cremorfar would strike anyone but him so when Rastol climbed up he screamed out, "Rastol, no!"

Cremorfar's forhead charged up another electric bolt and zapped it into Rastol before he had even the slightest moment to jump out of the way.

Kalm looked over at Rastol, kneeling with anger over Rastol's body, "Damnit! Rastol!" he clenched his fist again.  Then he charged at Cremorfar with his sword and just before he collided with the beast all the static electricity jumping all over the beast focused on Kalm, electrocuting him.
