This page is dedicated to the  Arabian Stallion:

*Ralvon Elijah

and to the owners and breeders of his progeny, who are determined to see the legacy of this stallion  - and the Ralvon breeding program he represents - continue here in the United States.
Although well represented worldwide in countries like Australia, New Zealand, the United Kingdom, Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, Qatar, and many Middle Eastern countries, the *Ralvon Elijah bloodlines have been dwindling here in America and in Canada, only a handful of breeders remains to carry on this priceless heritage.

A classic stallion of immense presence and robust build, *Ralvon Elijah was brought into the United States by the Elijah Enterprise in 1986, where he enjoyed a round of show ring successes before retiring to a relatively brief career at stud. Although he only sired a total of 133 progeny worldwide, his sons and daughters have a phenomenal record of show and racing wins that rival some of today's "Super-Sires", like Padrons Psyche or *El Shaklan.  However, *Elijah did this without the benefit of the mass advertising, hype, and millions of dollars spent these other stallions have enjoyed.  *Elijah's get were few, and their wins have been MANY!
*Elijah was a physical example of the 90+% Crabbet in his pedigree.  Standing 15 hands with immense bone and powerful motion, he nevertheless had beautiful Arabian type, with a classically dished head; large black eyes; and fountain tail carriage.  His superior quality and bloodlines manifested themselves in thin skin; a naturally fine, silky haircoat, and a luxurious mane and tail that graced the swan's arch of his neck.  His presence was that of royalty, with a lofty attitude and a regal disposition.  At his peak, *Elijah was truly breathtaking - everything you could imagine an Arabian stallion to be.
As with all things, age took its' toll on *Elijah, and he ended his stud career in the 1990's. Except for an occasional visitor to admire him in his late retirement, he led a peaceful life at Cavu Arabians, and sired a handful of additional offspring. His last foal, a filly, was born in 2000. In July, 2002, *Elijah was put down due to surgery complications, and has now joined his illustrious ancestors in Greener Pastures.   It is now up to his sons and daughters to carry on his bloodlines, and with only 170 grandchildren world-wide, the legacy he leaves may well be gone in the next 20 years.  It is our hope that an awareness of the importance of this blood will encourage more interest and a resurgence of these bloodlines.
