NFA President Dr. Himmat Singh K. C. has withdrawn his resignation in the Special General Assembly held on Saturday 18 November 2000. He withdrawn the resignation to complete his commitments and giving due respect to the General Assembly. He had resigned from his post to be effective from 16 of July 2000. Please click here to read his resignation letter.Foresters' Day Celebrated On Sunday 19 November 2000(4th Marga 2057 BS), NFA celebrated Foresters' Day with plantation followed by Stress Management Program at Osho Tapoban, Nagarjun, Kathmandu. The Stress Management Program was conducted with Chakra Sound and Dynamic Kundalani of meditations and tools of Time Management, Relation Building and Power of Acknowledgements. The Meditation Guru of Tapoban Swami Ananda Arun and OD Consultant Mr. Sher Thapa were kindly facilitated the day. The program was started at 8:30 AM and concluded at 4:30 PM. In the program senior forester Mr. Sushil Bhattarai planted a Rudraksha plant in the Tapoban. Seventy four NFA members, their family and friends were participated in the program. All the participants felt relax after the meditation. Mr. Rajendra Bahadur Joshi, Dr. Bharat Pokharel and Mr. Shankar Prasad Dahal expressed their views on the program. NFA Vice President Mr. Bijaya Raj Poudyal presented NFA Emblem to Swami Ananda Arun and Mr. Sher Thapa with gratitude.
