Indigo’s Solstice Liquer (requires 80 days to prepare!)MUST HAVE ADULT SUPERVISION IF UNDER 21!

A perfect drink for summer solstice. This is a drink passed on to me from my best friends aunt a very unique woman from Brazil. this drink and another (mint spritzer) were pretty popular in her youth as a young girl in brazil. Note that this is a some what adjusted recipie to my preferred taste. Traditionally this liquer is prepared alot sweeter and more condensed. Ingredients: Lemon liquer 15 Lemon rines Two bottles of 100 proof vodka You need one large sealable glass bottle that can hold about one gallon. Pour in one bottle of vodka in the glass jar with the lemon rines, and let it sit for 40 days in a dark cool place. After the 40 days take the rines out then pour another bottle of vodka. Then take three cups of sugar and three cups of water and put them in a sauce pan, cook on medium until they mix and turn into a surup. Then let cool. After it has cooled down to room temperature pour that into the jar also, then store again in dark cool place for 40 days. After the full 80 days it is ready. Serve chilled over ice (in small portions it is very strong!) and store in your frezer.

Indigo’s Green Eggs

This is a post of two recipies. The first one is my modification of the second. Though both are great. My circle sister had turned me onto a really fun dish she like to make from time to time especially during sabbat week. Indigo's Green eggs Ingredients: one tablespoon of minced garlic 1/2 cup of chopped spinach leaves 1/4 cup of chopped mint leaves Two sprigs of dill (chopped) 1/2 avocado dryed herbs: basil, oregeno, black pepper (1/4 teaspoon each) 4 eggs 2/3 cup of milk Put all of these into your blender. Blend until completley mixed & evenly green. Cook in a frying pan lightly coated in olive or vegetable oil & cook on medium. Note that when you cook this it will get a bit frothy and that is ok just let it cook down untill it resembles scrambled eggs. At this point it is up to you to cook to your preferrence (soft or hard). Enjoy! They taste great with aged white cheddar cheese or monerey jack.

Transfer to a plate to cool, then grind to a fine powder in a spice grinder; set aside. In a large heavy saucepan, combine the milk, creme fraiche, vanilla bean and remaining 1 1/4 cups sugar and 1/2 teaspoon lavender. Cook over moderate heat, stirring frequently, until the sugar dissolves and the mixture is hot, about 8 minutes. Remove from the heat, cover and let steep for 15 minutes. Strain the milk through a fine-mesh sieve and return to the saucepan. In a large bowl, whisk the egg yolks until blended. Gradually whisk in one-third of the warmed milk mixture in a thin stream, then whisk the mixture back into the remaining milk in the saucepan. Stir in the reserved lavender powder.
