Description
Six-lined racerunners are named for the six yellowish-white lines running along the upper surface of the body. A mid-dorsal stripe is also present. The stripes are separated by dark greenish brown to black bands. The upper suface scales are small and granular and the ventral scales are large and rectangular. The scales of the tail are larger and keeled. The throat is green or blue in males and white in females.
