Habitat
damp woodlands with decaying limbs and leaf matter, in gardens, and around houses.

Description
The five-lined skink is slender, smooth, and glossy. It has 5 broad light stripes that may fade with age. Adults may appear uniformly brown or lightly striped. The tail is blue to gray. The juveniles will have bright striping and a blue tail.
